How anti-war protest movements have made the U.S. stronger

Slate has an excellent article on the history of anti-war movements and commentary about the “love it or leave it” rhetoric that surfaced again as people protested the war in Iraq. This all happened during Vietnam (a war that we lost and turned out to have been a long and terrible mistake) and it’s happened since the beginning of wars in all cultures. Our present situation is no exception.
