This tree just couldn’t resist looking for more dirt to set its roots into. Amazing how something that grows this slowly will find a way.

This scene, was right out of “sleepy hollow” and anything you can imagine about such a place.
I love texture and pattern; I’m an old bean counter from way back and like pattern anywhere I see it from geologic thin sections to fractals to wooden floors.
