Pixelpost is photoblog software and it looks quite good. Like Wordpress that runs this weblog, Pixelpost uses PHP and mySQL and a CSS-driven template system.
I started using pixelpost a few weeks ago as a replacement for Movable Type. It’s very easy to setup and quite customisable once you have got to grips with it. Fully recommended.
Jamie: this is great to know. I’m assuming the link http://www.ino.org.uk/ is your site using pixelpost. If to, it’s a fantastic looking site and you’re one great photographer. Thanks.
PS: wow, thanks for the mention on your about page. I’m totally flattered.
Jamie, I think you’re an excellent photographer. That doesn’t mean you know it all, just that you have a good sense of form and composition and if you keep it up you’ll undoubtedly improve. Thanks for reading here, glad you’re enjoying my learning process. By the way, flickr is a wonderful tool for learning. I know you’re hosting your own photos and I used to host mine here too but I noticed a huge bandwidth hit so I decided to host them at flickr. Now flickr takes the entire hit and I also get to use its useful social network of tags, sets, and groups. Not sure how flickr could coexist with a self-contained photoblog like yours built with pixelpost but as your photoblog gets discovered you may want to find a way to share some of the bandwidth hit.
I have actually been using Flickr for some time. It was how I found your blog in the first place! (I believe it was though some of the comments Carlos’ photos).
I’d just like to chip in with another hurrah for PixelPost. I use it myself and have set up a couple of sites for novices to post baby photos and the like and they find it so easy to use it’s a breeze.
I especially like the way you can set it up with only minimal tweaking to default to post at 24 hour intervals, allowing you to “stock up” on a month’s worth of photos in no time.
This site is a collection of my 3035 notes and photographs which are categorized below and archived. Read more about this site, check out my growing collection of links, or view my photography on my photo site.

Seriously. Although I don’t comment I read all your posts and really enjoy your photographs.
I’m no great photographer yet, but I sure am enjoying learning!

Jamie: amazing. Small world. I’m going to meet Carlos next week at Macworld. First time we’ve met.
