The Kitty’s new toy

Our friend Gary sent The Kitty a holiday gift and she adores it. I’ve never seen her get so worked up with a toy: she takes a few whiffs and hops around the room with it in her mouth, then tosses it over her head and pounces on it and rolls around on the floor with it. This is a 15 year old severely arthritic cat.
I never thought that Gary, our mild-mannered librarian friend was actually a drug (catnip) dealer. No wonder The Kitty loves him so much, he’s her “catnip connection.” I guess we can call this “medical catnip.”
