Nice shot. Last time I flew that far west was during a huge storm. We bounced around in a DC-10 like we were on the “ell” train in Chicago. Amtrak has smoother rides that the one I was on.
Nice to see what the Rockies are suppose to look like.
nalts: Wow, a DC-10… that’s a while back. I kind of liked those planes, very quiet with engine on top and wings. However, rather dangerous to fly so best they’re retired. Passing over the front or back sides of mountain ranges generally leads to turbulence, the air has to go somewhere.
