Turkey Vulture

Warren, Connecticut. My friend Ted found an abandoned house (actually an old camp) way up a dead-end dirt road in an obscure corner of my town. He likes shooting falling down barns and old houses and I’ve never done it before so I tagged along to learn from the pro.
I got a few good shots of pieces of the house but this turkey vulture who seemed to be living in the ash tree above the house caught my eye. He was watching over us to make sure we didn’t eat any of his carrion which must have been inside the house.
hi. i know this is an old post. i was doing research on possible places to metal detect for old coins when i came across this post. any info about the location of this hous/camp mentioned in the post would be greatly appreciated. thank you for any information you may provide.
Matthew: it’s in my town of Warren, Connecticut. I’m not sure if the old house is still standing. Do you live around here?
