Pigeons in Little Italy

New York City. We were waiting for a friend in Little Italy and we found a small corner park to sit down in. Our bench afforded views of kids playing in a fountain, people playing chess, reading, talking, and napping. While all of this human activity was going on numerous pigeons were doing their food dance parading in front of us to see if we’d toss a scrap.
We feed birds at home and what’s the difference; New York pigeons have to eat too. I was able to get in a few shots of these taken for granted yet beautiful birds before they realized we had nothing to feed them and they moved on to another group of people.
This dude had a great strut. He was happening for sure.
