Portrait of my mother

Los Angeles, California. My 91 year old mother got excited when she saw how many people looked at her gmail piece and asked me to take a better image of her. She was all dressed up to go up to the Getty museum for dinner so it was really a matter of getting the right expression and lighting.
She’s an extremely social person and it will be interesting to see if she can figure out how to continue to take part in flickr comment threads (let alone continue to do gmail). I’m flying home this morning so we’ll know soon enough.
