Peach

Warren, Connecticut. A few years back we bought some peach seedlings and put them in, not really expecting to get much fruit out of them for five years. This year, maybe because they got so much water from rain, they all exploded with peaches, one in particular almost fell over under the weight of the fruit. This is one of our precious harvest just before I devoured it. Nothing better than a ripe, juicy peach except maybe a ripe, juicy peach with vanilla ice cream.
