Pam: I wish you were here too and Anne's baking like mad and needs someone to sample the wares to make sure they're edible... that's my job 'cause Kitty won't do it. Hey, the saga is worth reading in that it's instructive, even to Windows users. You all have a great holiday and tell those girls their new web site is kick ass!

You are lucky just like the lady bug!

I can't believe I am such a geek that I actually read the complete saga of your back up problems. I am so glad you are up and running and your Mac too. Of course, you know I am from the the dark side (PC) but not necessarily by choice. Now I am too set in my ways to change.

Go have some lemon bars or bread pudding or something and Have a great Holiday! Wish I was there!

Thanks Jon. As they say, shit happens and sometimes good comes of it. In this case I'm forced to take stock of how good I've got it and in doing so, realize that even though this computer is one of the centers of my life, there are others that are important too. However, the outcome for this computer will probably be good as well, or, better than the alternative (as my 91 year old mother says regularly about being old and falling apart). Happy holidays back atcha mate.
