North End of Lake Waramaug in Fog

Warren, Connecticut. The stream that runs behind our house which is a half mile up the road empties into this large lake on the right side of this frame. The area of water between where I am and the trees is what in other areas might be called an estuary: shallow water with a lot of lake grass and as we kayak over it we can see all sorts of things living in the grass and sand.
