GW: according to Dave (SD author) it will work if you backup to a disk image on your desktop, move it to the shared drive, then make an alias of it on your desktop and backup to the alias. Does that make sense? I've not tried this yet but it sort of makes sense to me. I don't have the new airport anyway so can't do it yet but if you do I'd love to hear if you can make it work.

Nope Dang it! Tried the trial version of Superduper!. Won't see the drive unless you plug directly into the back of the mac. Did that and setup first backup, then reconnected to Airport Extreme with USB. No dice...guess I'll wait for Time Machine. Hope it works with a G4 powerbook.
