USB 2.0 Universal Drive Adapter

Newer Technology makes a USB 2.0 Universal Drive Adapter which allows you to take any raw hard disk, sans case with power supply and interface and connect it to your computer.
There have been four times in the past fifteen years that I could have used this rig. Useful when you swap the internal drive out of your computer but need to have access to its contents and don’t have a case for it.
Yes, it definitely brands anyone who understands what it is and craves it as a geek. Sigh.

Hmmm. I can think of quite a few times when this would have been useful. Might be one of those things that are worth buying to put in the toolbox.
Jamie: my thoughts exactly. However, I know I don’t need it right now. Still, it’s cheap enough so having it around… Gad.
I’ve seen devices that handled standard ATA drives, but THIS on is far superior in that it handes ALL standards. This will be VERY helpful to me.
