Molly Ivins, 62, Dies; Writer Skewered Politicians: “The liberal writer cultivated the voice of a folksy populist and delighted in skewering politicians.”
I’ve been reading her for years in FunnyTimes and elsewhere. We need her now more than ever and she will be sorely missed.

She joins another big loss: her friend, Ann Richards, former Texas Governor; neither one hesitated to say what was needed…and used humor to get the point across.
Diane: absolutely. I was (still am) a huge Ann Richards fan. I met her numerous times when I worked down there when she was Governor. Had dinner with her once as well. Great women, totally accessible. Both of these women were absolutely stellar.
