Thank Dale (above) for that. No matter what image editor you use, try pulling in on the ends of your levels control and you'll see a marked difference. Especially on the white end. As Dale says, when shooting from a plane window you're shooting through UV glass and plastic with scratches on it... not the best optical conditions. The comparisons are very cool. Don't be so hard on yourself regarding the processing. They're fine. Yeah, its nice that someone spent the time to put that site together as it really makes the pictures come alive with context.
