Pietr, I too am old enough to remember the 60s and 70s. Nixon, Vietnam war, the works. It was a different world back then: we were different, Congress was different, the media (Woodward and Bernstein) was different. Now Woodward makes money by sucking up to Bush and writing soft criticism that can pass as praise if read in the wrong light.

Moyers is a true believer and has always been. He's been around, has integrity and is smart.

Thanks for your comment and let's hope that Bush and Cheney get what they deserve. I happen to think that it would do the country and the world good to try them and others in their administration as war criminals in a world court. Impeachment is too soft a landing for the likes of them. We would survive and undoubtedly be a lot stronger for it. I can wish...

You could bowled me over with a feather as the Bill Moyers Journal progressed. Having just watched INSIDE WASHINGTON where the regular pundits agreed smugly that we ignorant folks would have no interest in the utterly contemptuous behavior of Harriet Miers, the erudite discussion with Fein and Nichols was so refreshing.

I am old enough to remember the Saturday Night massacre. That evening the people spoke. I was honored to be amongst them then..I pray that once again we will speak out not only against the monarchy of Bush/Cheney, the craven Congress led by Nancy Pelosi, but also all but a handful of MSM.
