So, what might have been a huge moneymaker did a bit less well because of the competition and costs associated with launch. I'm sure JK made plenty though, as she should. At the very last minute, two hypermarkets advertised that they would be selling the book at a hefty RM40/- (approximately US$10/-) discount and in response, three of the major bookstores announced they would not sell the book.
