Sirsasana (headstand)

New Preston, Connecticut. This is my yoga teacher (and my wife’s as well) Anne Hungerford doing sirsasana (headstand).
Anne is a gifted teacher, able to work with beginners like me and more advanced yogis like my wife and she has just the right take on yoga (for me and my wife): she doesn’t strip it of its spiritual component yet never makes us feel uncomfortable with it.
Here are Anne’s notes on this pose at her web site: Sirsasana (headstand).

can u tell me the uses of sirsasans (head stand)
All inversions are good for your internal organs and your brain. That’s what they say anyway. I can’t do this pose but I can do a shoulder stand and I try to do it often to get blood to my head and let my internal organs move around a bit. That’s about all I know pradeep.
