Photojournalist Renee C. Byer’s 2007 Pulitzer Prize winning photo essay: A Mother’s Journey is one of the most moving collections of photographs I’ve seen, ever. Warning, these are emotionally charged images that can be quite upsetting.

I look this 21 great shots and at that time i listen (Roxette – a think about you) you now easy song for this pictures give a little more upsetting.
Gedas: are you saying that looking at the image with that music on made it more upsetting? I can see that: music can sway visual mood greatly as it does in any good movie soundtrack.
Moving photos – very powerful. I agree that music can really accentuate feeling.
Richard, yes with that music on made it more upsetting, for me.
Sorry, my english is bad.
Gesas: Hey, I understood you fine, your English is just fine.
Wow! Those images are incredibly powerful. I highly recommend turning the captions on also, to get the full story.
Thanks for sharing this link.
Paul, I agree, a great piece of photojournalism and it’s easy to see why it won a Pulitzer. I went through it sans caption first, then went back and looked again with captions. Then looked again without. You’re welcome.
