Improvements on the Lap

Laptops are sometimes more convenient than desktop computers, but they can generate a lot of heat. After it sits on a bed, a sofa or a lap for an extended period of time, a notebook computer can become uncomfortably hot, even dangerous.
We use Road Tools Podium Coolpads. Available online or at Apple Stores.

Great that they sell them out there Chet. The guy who makes them uses people with cognitive disabilities in a sheltered workshop, giving them work. Besides it being a good product, I want to support someone doing good in the world.
I use it too … and it’s also great for Neo on a lapdesk.

I got mine from the distributor in Singapore. Now I see copycat versions in the shops here.
Yes, his design has been copied many times but I try to be loyal to him (the reason for my link under the NY times story) as I like to support his innovation and his “workers.”
I still use and love the one for traveling that you gave me a long time ago, Richard. It’s a simple, excellent product that I use everyday. Nice to learn more about the good people in that company.
