Lake Waramaug at night

Warren, Connecticut. Anne (my wife) rolled her eyes when Gary and I announced at 11:30 pm we were making a night run down to the lake to attempt some shots. It was pitch black when I took this but a tripod allowed me to leave the shutter open long enough to capture some light. The lake is frozen over although I don’t think it’s ready for walking just yet. We had a blast.
The Boulders is a classy inn and restaurant on the east shore of Lake Waramaug. They were still "doing business" at midnight and Gary and I thought we heard a bear poking around in their dumpster so we took off.

That green light looks amazing, nice place, very quiet. You have snow! in my country still nothing…
Gedas: Yes, the lights at the Boulders caught my eye as I was walking back to the truck from the lake. Yes, we got some snow a while ago and then some ice on top of it. Now it is raining making a big mess out of all of it.
