Dried Grass

Washington, Connecticut. The landscape at Macricostas Preserve is full of photographic possibilities in spring, summer, and fall but winter presents a bit more of a challenge. This dried grass was the first thing that caught my eye and its color was echoed all day as we saw this color and texture in meadows and marshes.
