East End of Bee Brook Swamp

Washington, Connecticut. A new lookout has been built in Macricostas Preserve and Gary and I trudged through the snow to check it out. It’s ten feet off the ground which gives a photographer or bird watcher a nice perspective of the surrounding landscape. This is the east end of the swamp which is filled with horse tails.
