Apple Seeks Patent For Wireless Order Processing For Cafes
Apple is seeking to patent a system that would make it possible for a person to use a wirelessgadget to place an order at a cafe or fast-food restaurant and pickup the order without waiting in line.
They’ve already got integration with Starbucks with their WiFi Music Store so this looks like a trend. I’d say it’s a great one running parallel to handheld devices like iPhones capable of being the clients in systems like these. This is a great move that will have applications in areas hard to imagine now.
