Up until that point I'd seen Neil Peart live a few times and felt that he was the most astonishing player I'd ever see. I couldn't stop laughing when Buddy started rippin' it up. He was so advanced that it was hard to get your mind around what he was doing. I saw Buddy Rich live in 1987.
