Bogen tabletop tripod

Warren, Connecticut. Just a quick shot taken with my wife’s Canon A710 (not bad) of my Canon 5D with 300mm f/4 lens on a Bogen Tabletop Tripod.
I’ve had this little tabletop tripod for years and it holds a surprising amount of weight, quite well. This setup will not tip easily. I could even put the 1.4x extender on here without causing instability.
Note: the RRS lens ring plate isn’t necessary for this setup, it’s used to mount the lens on a full-size tripod with ball-head.
A small tripod like this is a useful part of any photo kit, even if you already have a “real” tripod.

300mm IT’S BIG!!! and heavy (I think) nice setup!
Gedas: not all that heavy actually but heavy enough so that it really shows off this little tripod.
