I loved the scene in Lost in Translation when "Bob" gets asked to stay an extra day to go on the "Japanese Johnny Carson Show" which ends up being some weird thing with the host doing his little dance. Yikes.</description>

		<description>OK - I have not only seen this particular video before but I have seen the TV show as well. All I can say is Japan managed to take the Variety show genre of  the early days of American TV and evolve it into quite the spectacle. While we got tired of the genre and moved on to other things, this is how the majority of Japanese celebrities (including actors and musicians!!) make their money. On days where there is nothing to watch and browsing Youtube has lost its charm, I do miss these sorts of things...

Oh - and Japanese Gameshows are even crazier :)</description>
