Absolutely wonderful! If I heard right, the people reasoned that the bird had been feeding the homeless kitten…and protecting from crossing the road.
About 12 years ago, at my previous home when my dog, Holly, and I would take our morning walk, two or three crows would follow along, talking to us, and hopping from light pole to light pole…that’s the closest I ever got to a bird-person-dog relationship.

Glad you both liked this, it struck me as not only a great nature story, but a great metaphor for our time (two different animals getting along).
