Trump Hotel at Columbus Circle

New York City. I have to admit, a room high up in this tower would afford incredible views of Central Park and the city. For us regular folks the tower itself will have to be the view.
I have an idea: why don’t a bunch of us photographers get together and rent a room high up for a day/night and have some fun shooting the city and ordering room service. I’m semi-serious.

I think we should try a hotel each year Richard! A wonderful idea! :-)
Jon: Great, let’s do it.
The issue with these glass boxes is the windows, their coatings, etc. If they have UV coatings it can be a problem and most do. I need to look into that. Might have to go take a picture out a window or two to figure it out.
Hi richard–
I would entitle this one Pathway to the Clouds or something. With a little visual change of perspective, it looks like a sidewalk at the end of which is the sky, sort of M.C. Escher-esque…
Sheryl: right, I agree and it would be fun to walk up this building and jump off into the sky. Trump, no doubt, would charge us for it though.
I’m jealous of you!
Gedas: I’m not sure why. I lead a pretty unexciting life up here in Warren. Big excitement to go into New York and see big buildings. WooHoo.
