Tree Peony Stamen

Warren, Connecticut. My friend Zarinna called me up to let me know that her peonies are going by, best get over to shoot them. It was a windy day and I took a lot of shots, few of which turned out. This is a very large bloom, close to eight inches across.
Wow, an amazing center…what color were the petals…pale pink?
Diane, they were white with a faint touch of pink, yes. Yes, the sex part of this flower is HUGE!
