TinEye

TinEye is a new web site that takes an image that you supply it and searches for copies of it on the web. It does not work with key words but with pixel and EXIF data so even images that have been cropped or photoshopped can be found.
Wow!
It’s in beta but I’ve just signed up for a test account and I’ll report on what I find. I’m quite nervous actually as I’m pretty sure many of my images are out of my control. Stay tuned.

This is awesome as we just re-did the website at work, and paid for a photo shoot for it instead of using stock footage. Nice to know there’s an easier way of tracking our conniving competitors… :)
Thanks for the resource!
Right Caitlin. Amazingly, the photograph that I thought I’d find of mine all over the web only appeared on one Russian site. Not too bad.
