Orange gerber daisy

Warren, Connecticut. Another of our recently acquired gerber daisies open in the sun. The petals and stamen on these flowers are so photogenic I can’t stop shooting them. I know, enough already with the gerber daisies.

Will: thanks, the green and orange are a wild contrast to anybody’s eyes, except maybe someone on LSD. If I were planning a background color I would not have chosen it but alas, the lawn is behind this pot so I had no choice.
Birds ‘eh? I’ll see what I can do. Oh, and I just remembered that I owe you a print of that swamp landscape I did last year. Ugh, so much for my fulfillment skills. I’ll get on it Will. Thanks.
