Getty Images has announced a deal with flickr: Flickr Loves You.

I think it’s all good. It’s a juried affair: Getty will ask vairous flickr members for use of their work, members can opt in or out. Simple. It extends both Getty and flickr and has little downside for flickr members who don’t want their work shown in a royalty-free image collection.
