Kansas City Library Parking Garage

Jonathan Moreau posted a great image of a Kansas City Library parking garage facade up at flickr. I’m not holding my breath that the Warren Connecticut (pop 1300) Library builds a garage, let alone puts a great book facade on it.

YIPPEE! One of my favorite places in KC where I live. The company that Dan worked for designed the library which was a former bank from the 1920’s. Very cool.
I will see the parking garage this weekend when we go see the opera which is just down the street.
Pam: Wow, I’d love to know the back story on the design of that garage. I wonder how they chose the books? Of course, if Sarah Palin had been involved… a row of Bibles.
I think this is exactly what Warren needs!
Martha, right after we finish paying for all the other stuff going on in town. Short of that, maybe a cardboard facade?
That’s really cool!
If this was Wasilla there would be one book there: the Bible!
