The genius behind Steve Jobs
Monday, November 10th, 2008
This is a great profile of Tim Cook, the Corporate Operating Officer of Apple. One thread in this piece is whether Tim Cook could or would replace Steve Jobs as the head of Apple should Jobs retire but independent of that thread the piece of fascinating because it sheds light on what Cook does at Apple and how he, along with a few other people working under Jobs have turned the company into what it is today.
For those of you who don’t read long pieces, this is well written (by Adam Lashinsky) and worth sticking with all the way through. It held my attention and I’m slow as molasses.
