God, news reports of wildfires don’t do events justice until you see the images of how terrifying and how huge those fires are. And with the pictures of all those embers flying around, suddenly the spread of the fire is understandable.
Sarah, yes, there are particularly strong winds in that area called The Santa Anna Winds that can really spread the fires quickly. Lucky me, I’m flying out there Thursday.
