Wow, this is about as personal as “show me your desktop.” Some of those icons are pretty wild, god knows what they launch.

Hi Richard. I’ve been hooked into your RSS for a couple of weeks now and have been enjoying your posts. I’ve not heard of a dock before though I can see clearly what one is - is it a Vista thing or something that Mac owners get excited about?
Alex: these docs are part of Mac OS X but I know there is a dock on the windows side as well.
Dock in Windows Vista? You mean the Sidebar, richard? A dock as i see it is a different design from the sidebar.
Dilip: The post is about Mac OS X as evidenced by the screen shots. Windows has a launcher of sorts whatever it’s called and the ability to “dock” things in various places. So, Alex wasn’t far off.
Oh yeah, i figured that out. Was just greedy to find out if there was a DOCK app for windows and looks like there is one. :D Its third party and costs 30 bucks. Oh well, Windows 7 is better off UI, will wait for that i guess.
