My old friend Ken O’Connell who is the retired head of the art department at the University of Oregon where I went to school and taught for a while now does sketching, drawing, and journaling workshops in Italy, among other places. Suzie Garner, an art teacher from Colorado was part of one of those workshops and she’s got a great weblog on sketching: sketchingspirit.
