Fred Beckey: The Old Man of the Mountains

The New York times has a nice video piece on now 85 year old Fred Beckey: The Old Man of the Mountains.
I certainly remember reading about Beckey’s numerous first ascents in the Cascades and elsewhere when I was into climbing. The guy was and is a legend. Amazing he’s still at it.
