Shepaug River in snow

My friend Gary is visiting for the holidays and like idiots we took a long walk in the blizzard hitting the east coast now. He took this amazing shot looking upstream on the Shepaug River from the Hauser bridge.
I took the same shot recently in better weather from the same spot on the bridge.
Gorgeous photos- both.
But I say THIS is “better weather!!” I’m loving the snow–disappointed that it stopped at 7 inches. I’m waiting for at least a foot of powder for showshoes!

Sheryl, yes, it seems to have stopped but the weather service says it will continue through tomorrow. Seems to have stopped at 7 inches here too. Boo!
