   I still think that iphoto might be a better option on the mac expecialy then new version 09. what do others think?

   Edward, once you start shooting in RAW you’ll want to explore products like Lightroom or Aperture but until then iPhoto will be fine. No, I don’t have the new version.

   I agree with Richard, I use Lightroom, it’s easy to browse and export raw to photoshop ant etc.

   Edward hasn’t really discovered RAW yet Gedas so no doubt iPhoto will be enough for a while. However, once he does, he’s going to want Lightroom for sure and knowing him, he’s already dreaming about it. Edward was one of my students in high school 20 years ago! Amazing how time flies.

   you know me will and I bought lightroom a wile ago and I use it, i am not all that good at it but I am using it and i have to say it is an amazing product, I now shoot all of my pictures in raw but I think there is still a place for iphoto, and some of the options in iphoto are pretty nice but lightroom is a better product for editing pictures.

   Great to hear Edward. When you come down here, bring your computer and we’ll go over Lightroom and see if we can get you a bit further into it.
