Mid-morning ice on trees

Warren, Connecticut. I was out early this morning running an errand and stupidly left my camera at home. I saw this incredible view, ran home for camera and got this image, no doubt about an hour or two too late.
Moral: pack camera, always.

Beautiful, why you walking early morning without camera???!
Richard: why? You need to strap a camera on when you head to bed each night.
;)
Still, those images are exceptionally fine. I’m glad you went back for your camera.
Gedas: not walking, driving a friend (Zarinna) on an errand. Should have put camera in truck. Stupid!
Gary: As Malden says “don’t leave home without it. Sigh.
Richard, you could also have stayed in and photographed some everyday objects in your kitchen.
Better to get out and attempt shots like this, whether you get them or not. Everyday objects can be done any day.
Richard, I love the colors in the first photo.
Thanks Diane, I’m happy with it too.
