The Big Picture has a great new collection: More of London from above, at night with photographs by Jason Hawkes.
I love this stuff, can’t get enough of it. Incredibly well done and makes me want to get to London pronto.

Richard: what a fantastic series of nightimes images of London. I’ve wanted to do clear and sharp urban night photography like this for a long time, but it’s very hard to achieve. Bravo!
I agree Gary, an incredible set. Check out the images at the photographer’s site, they’re stunning too.
wow these are great but Paris is more beautiful ;)

So Edward, get in a plane with your 40D and shoot it. Let me know when you submit the set to Big Picture ;)
I was kidding ;) Paris from Above
Well Richard, what’s keeping you? Come and see us in London. Pronto!
Dirk
Edward: I was kidding too, thanks for the link.
Dirk: I am so tempted to hop on a plane… I might just do it yet.
Ricci: Just so you know we have been hit by a massive snowstorm this morning, and cold winds coming from Russia, and all of London is covered under a white carpet. Needless to say public transport has ground to a halt because the city doesn’t normally have (or want) to cope with this sort of stuff.
It’s beautiful though and I wish we could have Jason take some aerial shots of this..
Dirk: Hey, better yet, why don’t YOU rent a helicopter and take some aerial shots! Enjoy the snow while it’s a rarity, around here it’s getting old pretty fast about now and we’re ready for spring. And, the groundhog saw his shadow so alas, another 6 weeks of winter!
WOW! Beautiful. Great to see that places, it reminds me when I was walking in that streets…
Gedas: I’ve only been to London a few times but it reminds me of those times too. I really love London and as soon as I can get away and Dirk invites me, I’d love to get back there.
