Kent, Connecticut. Another great dinner with our friend the artist Joy Brown and replacing her flying elephant she now has a robin. A sign of spring? We hope so.

Beautiful bokeh, Richard…..a very fine image, love the colors and composition.
Thanks Gary, it was the 450D and 35L. A bit noisier than the 5D would have been but Lightroom helped it.
Bokeh boy! I thinkig get sigma 30mm f/1.4, Nikon couple weeks ago let out 35mm f/1.8 but test shots on internet reviews forum not very impresed.
I give for canon great feedback for the all fixed primes lenses! 24 f/1.4, 50mm f/1.2 35mm f/1.4 wow!
Gedas: I’ve heard very good things about the Nikon f/1.4 but also about the Sigma 30mm f/1.4. You’ll have fun with them.
This shot was taken with a 450D which is a cropped sensor so the 35mm lens was more like a 50.
cozy! a feast of color and light! tweet tweet
