My mother at 94
Wednesday, May 27th, 2009
Los Angeles, California. Today my mother turned 94. Wow, that’s a big number. She also just gave up driving and will be relinquishing some of her independence by having someone come and help her shop and run errands.
I wish I’d taken more time to get a decent shot of her, this was rushed and she was antsy and moving. I guess I hope I’m moving at 94.

I think it’s a lovely photo of your mother. As I mentioned in the e-mail, I wish her a very happy birthday, and many, many more.
Thanks Dale, I’ll let her know in a few when I wake her up to say goodbye.
Happy Birthday to your Mom from us – and we like the photo too.
That’s a wonderful portrait of your mother, Richard. I’m sure she had a great time with you on her birthday. Happy Birthday Frances!
Thanks Steve and Gary. We had a nice time last night and I got some shots of her cousins Doris and Bob at dinner that will be fun to post. Those cousins weren’t born yet when this photo was taken but their mom’s are in the picture as is my mother and her mother.

Thanks Jon and Kate. Hey, I’m just sayin’ I’ve done better but it’s fine and if it makes her happy, I’m all in.
