Richard,
Thank you for the link to the stunningly beautiful pictures of Michael Jackson.
I am horrified at greedy doctors who become a party to the destruction of a troubled human being despite their pledge to “first, do no harm.”
In Jackson’s case, first his doctors mutilated his body and then they poisoned him unto death.
Sheryl: I’m sure he played some part in it, no? I agree, good doctors should walk away from people who want to do bad things to themselves but he had to have asked to have his face rebuilt and no doubt was struggling with meds to get through rehearsals for the London shows coming up. I agree, it’s a shame, much like the rest of his life, a big mess.
I agree that Michael had a great deal to do with his own destruction and death, but as I say, the doctors were party to it–partners in crime.
Good doctors never would have allowed, much less performed, the really bizarre surgeries. Good doctors also would have administered proper pain management.
If Michael’s live-in doctor had nothing to feel guilty about, he would not be in hiding.
Sheryl: True enough. We’ll see how it all sorts out but it’s a big mess, that’s for sure.
This article is fascinating and if even half of it is true it explains a lot.
‘I’m better off dead. I’m done’: Michael Jackson’s fateful prediction just a week before his death
After reading this and other good articles (i.e. Rolling Stone), I think it is a wonder that Michael Jackson survived to the age of fifty.
