Crunchpad?

Michael Arrington, founder of the influential tech blog TechCrunch, has been talking for a year about building a touch-screen tablet for Web surfing. Now, it appears that the CrunchPad is about to become a reality.
This looks quite interesting and while many didn’t take this project seriously I think he might be onto something good. A thin and light tablet that only runs a browser, no visible OS, no keyboard, no nothing except a touch screen with a browser. I’d much rather read the New York Times on something like this than an iPhone and if it’s a success it might eat into Kindle sales as well.
