This is wonderful work and the shadow-box framing is perfect for it. I even like her taste in ceramics.
I wonder about the stability of these natural materials over time. Insects, decay… oh boy.

I wonder about the stability of these natural materials over time. Insects, decay… oh boy.
The natural materials do change over time, some more than others. I find the changes beautiful, mostly in colors becoming softer. Think antique pressed flowers… they last for centuries. And please, no insects!
Thanks Christina, glad to know they last. The tightness of the box/frame would seem to me to be the filter on insects, depending, of course, on what part of the earth one lived in/on.
