Morning on the Shepaug River
Tuesday, August 11th, 2009
Washington, Connecticut. Gary and I got up at 4 am this morning and we were on the banks of this river as the sun came up burning the moisture off the ground and leaves making a temporary fog. This is looking upstream to the north and includes the Hauser suspension bridge which we crossed earlier.

That’s great. What a lovely spot. The bridge really contributes to the scene.
Thanks Dale. I really wish you were out with us today. We both exclaimed that it didn’t matter at all if we got anything, it was just fun to be out messing with the gear. We’re considering going up on the Pinnacle tonight to shoot the sunset just for the fun of coming down in the dark. Stay tuned.
Sounds great. Have fun! (I know you will ;)
That is one of the most beautiful photos you’ve taken yet. I miss Connecticut so much.
Thank you Pam, that means a lot to me. If I can make a print of it I’ll send you one. Hey, we miss having you here in Connecticut!
Richard, what wonderful shot…. You are an expert!!!! the contrast is amazing…. I hope to follow your foot steps :)
Hey Racquel, you can get shots like this. You just need to shoot more. Let me know when you’re ready.
