My mother
Saturday, September 26th, 2009
Los Angeles, California. Amazingly, my 94 year old mother is still a fun lunch date. We had a great laugh over a rather off color joke she told me, both of us laughing more at the fact that she told the joke than its relative funniness.
She’s not driving anymore and has to get through museums in a wheelchair but she’s always ready to go. These days her eyes are bad enough so when we get to museums she can’t see see what’s on display. To quote her, "who cares, let’s go!"
That’s the spirit mom.

Richard, that’s an excellent portrait of Frances. It’s nice to see her mischievous smile, and great to hear that she still has her adventurous spirit.
Thanks Gary, it was a fun day.
